Located in Phoenix, New York, Phoenix Central School District Dollars for Scholars® (Phoenix CSD Dollars for Scholars), a program of Scholarship America®, was chartered in 1985 by a group of local community members who were dedicated to helping young people further their post-secondary education. That first year, three scholarships of $500 each were awarded, with all funding coming from the John Ben Snow Foundation.

The following year, ten scholarships totalling $3,600 were granted.

For each year thereafter, Phoenix CSD Dollars for Scholars and its hard-working members, have continued to strive to increase the number of scholarships distributed annually. To date, Phoenix CSD Dollars for Scholars has provided more than $700,000 in scholarship funds to deserving Phoenix High School students.

For 2022 graduating  high school students should feel free to go to our 'Students" portal and fill out an application to see if you qualify for local and national scholarships.
